Our story
A school built where the children already were
Affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi — Affiliation No. 3530502
Established in 1993, Shri Chandrabadani Public School began because families in and around Pujar Gaon, Hindolakhal, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand were sending their children hours down the valley for a decent education — or not sending them at all.
Three decades on, the school teaches nursery to class xii across a twelve-acre campus, and is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. What has not changed is the size of the classes: small enough that a child who is struggling is spotted in the first week of term, not at the exam.

Our journey
From two rooms to a senior secondary school

The school opens
Two rooms, four teachers and thirty-eight children from the villages around Pujar Gaon.

2001
Primary wing added
The first purpose-built block goes up, taking the school from Class V to Class VIII.

CBSE affiliation
Affiliation No. 3530502 granted, and the first senior batch begins.

Science and computer labs
Three laboratories and a computer room open, ending the era of demonstrations on a single table.

Smart classrooms
Digital boards reach every room from Nursery upward, and the campus crosses 1,200 students.
